1. Downloading Music to use on your Videos. You need to get 10 songs that you can use for your upcoming videos.
2. Make a new folder called Music in your DD3 folder. Put your music there. You might need to rename the music to Artist-SongTitle (Eminem-LoseYourself)

1. PR- Holiday History Video
   You will be researching a holiday and making a short video about what it is and why people celebrate it. Get pictures, videos to support the visual side. You will need to read a short script (30-45 seconds) that describes the holiday.
   
2. Get topic assigned - don't like it, you can switch if you wish. Ask me what is leftover.
3. Research orgin of holiday, meaning, what happens, etc.
   FOCUS ON THE HIGHLIGHTS
4. Write/copy to a word document. You will need to speak for around 30-45 seconds.
5. Download approriate resources: Pictures, video/music from YouTube, whatever supports the holiday
6. Design appropriate intro/outro (no black background) get a good bg picture.
7. READING SCRIPT
   You should use your phone in the back room OR at home and send the file to yourself. Make sure you practice so you get it right and sound good. NO ERRORS
8. Make the video - keep it light and interesting - use video and all pictures should move, but not too fast.

GENERAL FORMAT

1. 5 Second Intro with animated background - should say title of your subject.
2. Background music - make sure to duck it so your voice can be heard.
   ** You should NOT be in the video
3. Interesting images / videos that support what you are talking about (like we did with MHS Promo Video and Bike Interview)

   Your assignment is to create a short music video that demonstates several concepts that you have learned this year. One video will have a cool mirrored effect and the other video will be like a short slideshow of the lyrics. You only need to do one "verse" and can choose almost any one of them. The final video should be maybe 30-50 seconds long. YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO THE WHOLE SONG!!!

   Get video of 10 friends (NONE FROM THIS CLASS!) and ask them what the best advice that they have received was, take those videos and put them together
   FOCUS on the Rule of Thirds, filming quality and voice quality. Don't film in any loud areas. i *might* put them on the announcements (XTRA Credit) so BE SURE to tell your friends that they might end up there!

   Download a song from YouTube or elsewhere. It should have singing in it close to the beginning of the song. *(YES it needs to be a clean version!)
   Get the lyrics from a lyric site.*(YES it needs to be a clean version!)
   Download a free pexels video it should be about 2 minutes OR you can loop it if appropriate.
   Make your own video with the pexels video, song and lyrics at the appropriate times.

ADVICE 2 VIDEO:
1. Intro with interesting appropriate image (NO BLACK BACKGROUND) and animated text.
2. Outro with interesing approprate image blurred so animated text is legible.
3. Film the 5 advice videos using your phone - needs to be steady - do your best with the audio.
4. Appropriate editing of each shot. (No long spaces or cutting) remember the count in's.
