Use the following sites to make your an Avatar - some are better than others, but you have a choice - you need to make 2 different characters and yes they should look like you! You will need to use Snippets to save the picture. DO NOT log in to any of these sites. Save them as Avatar1, Avatar2.
Put them into a new folder called Avatars in your Stuff folder.

How can searching images help your videos out?

- Google Internet Search for Images using Tools
- Image Type Comparison - It is important that you understand some image basics, yes, even in a video class, so you can import images appropriately.
- Worksheet is HERE Image Type Comparison.
- Download the file then open it and immediately use Save As to put it in your OneDrive/Stuff folder. Put your name in the footer.
- Upload to FOCUS when you are done - ask a neighbor for assistance.
- THIS is why you should search for transparent backgrounds - notice how the white background looks bad....

- Time to look at some YouTube videos today!! Look for videos that interest you and write a short description about the people making the videos and what makes their stuff so interesting.
- Using YouTube, find a 3 videographers that are shooting cool stuff. Try to find people and not companies if possible.
- You can find almost anyone (school appropriate) BUT they should have over 30 videos, a lot of subscribers, and good content. PLEASE NO cats OR video games stuff!!!!! Try NOT to do sports commentary either, find creative people making videos on stuff you like!!
- ASSIGNMENT: Make a new PowerPoint (Using either online Office365 OR Office installed on the computer. Save it as YouTubeVideographer in your Stuff Folder.
- Slide 1 - Introduction with your name and title YouTube Videographer.
- Slide 2 - 1st YouTube Person - Information (see below) and embed your favorite video about them.
- Slide 3 -2nd YouTube Person
- Slide 4 - 3rd YouTube Person
- INFORMATION ABOUT THEM:
1. Intro with name of person / Link to YouTube/Website & Instagram account.
2.
A little about the background of the person (Do they have formal schooling, etc.?)
3. What are the main types of videos they are shooting and why it appeals to you.
4. What type of equipment do they use?
5. Embed YouTube video in the first one. Show us your favorite section ~1 min vid
6. Same thing for video 2.
- IF you want a template to use HERE you go - remember once you download immediately move it to your Stuff folder. Also please modify it to make it your own.(IF it doesn't work, just make your own.

- CARTOONIFY Make 3-4 of these using an uploaded image of yourself:

2. Cartoonize- Nice one too, but sloooow. (Might not work at school.)
- Save the Avatars (Avatar03, Avatar04, etc) to your Stuff Folder.
- In addition to these - you can use your phone (at home) and use Insta/Snap filters to make additional Avatars.
- Remember, you should have minimum 4 total Avatars total (2 cartoons and 3-4 ones from your actual picture.)

Melbourne High School is located in the city of Melbourne on the east coast of Florida. It is close to the sparkling beaches of Florida’s Space Coast and the estuary of the Banana River. Over two thousand students attend Melbourne High School, and, with its many athletic and academic programs, it is well-respected and is currently ranked in the top 200 of Floridian High Schools. MHS is also rated an “A” school. Academic programs that students can choose from include International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement or Dual Enrollment to get college credits at Eastern Florida State College. The principal is Dr. Chad Kirk, who has led the school since 2015.”

- Do a Google Search for L-Cut and J-Cut definitions. You will be reading this tonight so save it (or take a picture of it).
- TODAY'S WORK: WE'LL DO THIS ALL TOGETHER - STAY WITH ME!!!
- Make folders for each project
- Set up subfolders (Media,Premiere)
- Get music for each video - yes it should be different.
- Download 2 B-Roll Pexels video (L-Cut and J-Cut)
- IF you can't do it then use these HERE (80MB)
- Download a nice plain background picture to put under the title / outro
- Start Premiere and get Intro and Outro ready.
- Save Projects
- Get text to read for tonight's homework. Save as txt file.
- Research tonight's homework of recording yourself
You must record 2 things - L Cut definition and J-Cut definiton.
We'll look that up together.
You MUST also send it to yourself TONIGHT so it comes through.
